The name (ELYSIAN TALLOW) is based on the myth of the Elysian Fields, also known as Elysium, a concept from ancient Greek mythology. The Elysian Fields are depicted as a paradise or heavenly realm where the souls of the virtuous and heroic dwell in the afterlife. Unlike the underworld, where most souls were believed to go, the Elysian Fields were reserved for those who had lived righteous lives or who had been favored by the gods.
